Travel Alternatives
Use Court Sq-23 St , Hunters Point Av or Queensboro Plaza Stations instead.
To transfer between and trains, use free out-of-system transfer between Hunters Point Av and 21 St Stations.
To travel between Court Sq and Hunters Point Av or Queensboro Plaza Stations, use the B62 bus.
Note: There will be no service between Times Sq-42 St and Queensboro Plaza
for 11 consecutive weekends beginning Saturday, January 21 until
Monday, April 2.

HURRICANE IRENE - PROTECT YOURSELF
Irene is going to hit New York City with very high winds and heavy rains Saturday night and all through Sunday.
Its going to be a very dangerous storm, especially in low-lying areas of the city in which residents are required to evacuate.
MTA is currently holding a shut down. There will be 91 emergency shelters throughout the city. Remember to stay indoors, away from glass windows,
and if possible stay below the 10th floor. Flooding may occur.

Flushing BID is co-hosting the First Annual Queens Real Estate Conference with Monroe College. The topic of discussion is the
Future of Downtown Flushing in 5 to 10 years. The meeting is scheduled on July 15 at the Sheraton. Everyone is welcomed to

PEDESTRIAN SAFETY WEEK IN FLUSHING
Flushing BID is celebrating Pedestrian Safety Week July 28 - July 1 with Council Member Peter Koo, and Assembly Member Grace Meng.
Volunteers have been distributing flags with the message to "Support Red, White and Blue by Following Red, Yellow and Green" to celebrate the fourth of July
and to encouraging pedestrians to observe traffic rules.
