Come celebrate the Lunar New Year in Flushing. The Parade will be carried out outdoors at 11:00AM on Saturday, February 16, 2013 at the Union Street and 39th Avenue, Flushing 11354. An opening ceremony featuring Lion and Dragon Dances to celebrate the beginning of a new year. Make sure to check out the $7 Dollar Express Lunch. What is a better way than to celebrate in Flushing?

Flushing BID has been continuously working to promote downtown Flushing as "The destination of choice for Asian cuisine", outlined in our motto, "Food. Fun. Flushing." Seen in our recent event, Flushing Food Festival, we have promoted a variety of Asian restaurants which include: Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese, Thai, and Malay. This will not only aid in assisting local eateries but it will also serve to accentuate the diversity of cuisines. It will appeal to the tourists and people from other cities and boroughs as a source of information of the restaurants in the downtown Flushing area.
