CITI FIELD
Citi Field is the home of the Major League Baseball's New York Mets.
It was completed in 2009 as a replacement for Shea Stadium
which was constructed in 1964 next to the site of the 1964-1965 World's Fair.

QUEENS BOTANICAL GARDENS
The Queens Botanical Gardens began as part of the 1939 New York World's Fair in Queens.
It now consists of 39 acres of rose, bee, herb, and perennial gardens. It is open to the public.
On September 27, 2007, Mayor Bloomberg and other dignitaries attended the ribbon cutting of QBG's new
visitor center. It was the first building in New York City to achieve the Platinum LEED rating, effectively
becoming New York's greenest building.

QUEENS LIBRARY - FLUSHING BRANCH
The Queens Library, also known as the Queens Borough Public Library, is the public library for the Borough of
Queens and one of three library systems serving New York City. It was established in 1896
and currently has about 6.6 million items. The Queens Library has become one of the largest public library systems
in the United States comprising 62 branches.
